Everyone needs one – a room where you can display your favourite things, work on projects, curl up with a good book or just relax and enjoy the solitude. It may be a sewing room, a library or a playroom – it doesn’t matter, really, as long as it reflects what makes you happy.

What makes me happy is lots of pretty things. The beauty of Second Life is that I can create this type of space as many times as I would like in any fashion that suits my whimsy. Today, it is kind of an arts and crafts room. Who knows? Tomorrow it may be a padded cell 😉

The things a girl will do to afford new shoes! Just look at this mess! Dirty clothes on the floor, stinky shoes left sitting out, wet towels on the floor and ewww…I’m gonna have to go get a mask and gloves before I go near that toilet!

But the shoes are worth it. Ultra high sexy babydoll pumps with optional stockings – yes, I said optional, so you get two looks for the price of one. Because they’re from fri.day, you know they’re beautifully made. They’re available at the new round of Uber, so you may have to try several times to get in, but they are truly worth the effort. You can always polish the sink while you’re waiting 😉

It’s a common problem for a pet owner. You get up to grab a drink and come back to your furry friend curled up on your seat. If you have a dog, he will probably look at you with sad eyes, tail thumping slowly, hoping you don’t displace him. For cat owners, you know well that glare that says, “What? It’s full of warm. Go find another place to sit, Human.”

My darling little puss has this look down cold. She is usually only willing to give up her spot in exchange for a brushing. She normally wins.

Do make sure to check the shopping list today. There are TONS of goodies from several events to drool over. I do want to draw your attention to the desk set and accessories from .tree at Wayward Winter. You are most likely familiar with Karla Marama’s work as the designer of Pr!tty (store currently closed for remodeling). Karla has undertaken creating “trinkets and furniture” under the brand .tree . While she hasn’t yet opened a store in Second Life under this brand, you can find her lovingly crafted treasures exclusively at Wayward Winter. Each one is created with attention to detail, care and amazing quality. You don’t want to miss out on this chance to snatch up her work.
