It’s all Home & Garden today; loads of pretty stuff from The Liaison Collaborative, plus a starring role by the lovely lamps from [ keke ] I showed the other day. While I love H&G, I do struggle with getting the right amount of clutter balanced with realism (or at least my version of realism). I tend to place things around the edges, leaving the centre bare. Which leads to me adding more things and moving stuff around until I barely recognise what I started out with. I do admire the work of dedicated H&G photographers; the credits alone make them worth their weight in gold!

This was supposed to be a completely different photo; I had to totally rework the credits after I finished processing and cropping. But sometimes the best intentions just go down the rabbit hole.

Lu Is Back!

After a hiatus from creating in Second Life, Luana Dawg is back with her brand, Kuro. I have missed Lu’s quirky style and I am thrilled to see she has returned with a rebuild of her Microapartment. It is a cozy, two-room build with lovely detail. I am hoping this is just the first of many great things to come.

[ keke ] also has released recolours of her Gustavian console table and the lovely refurbished spring drawer, which was originally found in the February Deco(c)rate subscription box. They work well together or of course, on their own. They are available at her main store, along with a lot of the other things you can see in the photo, so do a little browsing when you stop in to pick up these goodies. In addition, she has created the spring sprout set for the Mad Easter Egg Hunt. I haven’t done this hunt, but it is a collective hunt with more prizes released the more people play and find eggs. The Liaison Collaborative should be open by the time I publish this post. The theme of “Rainy Days” is perfect for April and there are loads of showery-themed pretties at the event, including these from Serenity Style and Sway’s. Stop by for your April gear, and don’t forget your umbrella!

Pouf: (n) a versatile piece of furniture that can be used as a seat, a footstool or a table.

I made that up.

But seriously, whomever named this piece had to have a bit of a whimsical streak. I fully expected it to disappear from my inventory (“Poof!”), but thankfully, it didn’t. From Soy. found at the January round of The Liaison Collaborative, it is a must-have for decorating. I can see this equally at home in the bedroom or even a large bathroom, as well as the living area I set up with loads of lovely things from the January Deco(c)rate and gacha prizes from Kustom9.

It is a wonderful piece to help create your own sanctuary.
