1 Mirror, Mirror

Usually I hate mirrors because I’m not happy with the face looking back at me…until I’ve at least applied my mascara. But in this case, it was trying to get the mirror images lined up in this photo. I finally did it…after about an hour. They’re probably not perfect, but I did heave a sigh of accomplishment when I finished.

Apple May Designs has released this sexy top and shoes recently. You can find both in the main store, and one colour of the shoes is the group gift. Pop over and join the group to grab them. I’m sure you can see yourself in them – just look in the mirror.

1 Next To You

There is a place I will always feel welcome, always be safe and always belong. It is a place that has no boundaries, no geographical restraints and no limits of time. It is open, warm and inviting. It is the place where I go when I am tired, cold and feeling alone.

Next to you.

It is where I long to be when you are away…a homesickness that is cured only when you return. Hands held, thighs touching, head upon shoulder, smile on lips. It is my favourite destination, my secret haven. It is mine, alone. It is wherever you are, whenever you are there.

Your place is here; not just on this bench, but in my heart. Until you return I will close my eyes and reside in my joy, my happiness, my contentment. I will savour each memory like a precious gift and sigh with the comfort of each remembrance.

When I take photos for my blog I am fastidious about taking down the credits. I think it’s important to give proper due to the amazing creators of Second Life.

I’m breaking my own rule here today. I’m blogging and I’m not going to do credits. Not because the creators of everything in this photo aren’t amazing, but because I had no intention of blogging this picture when I took it. It is just a happy snap I took while hanging out with my sis.

I love going to visit Rwah. She’s amazingly talented and it is rare to see her sim looking the same way on two successive visits. But I liked this particular incarnation. So while we were sitting there discussing her latest vision for her space, fashion, men, and life in general, I snuck my view behind us and took this shot. I didn’t let on; I just passed her the raw shot after I had taken it.

It made me happy. Just spending time with Rwah. No pressure to hit deadlines, no clients to prep for, no pressing shopping events I just had to attend. Just two sisters, no credits and a beautiful memory, captured in a photograph.
