The post title is an unattributed quote I found doing a google search on “Peep”. Although, from this blog (and that pic!), I think in my case, it’s not true!

What’s in a name? Well, here’s my two cents worth!

What’s your SL name? Peep Sideshow

What made you choose this name? The Peep part came from a nickname I had in another virtual world. It actually has nothing to do with the marshmallow chicks!

Sideshow was one of the choices I had from legacy names when I joined and the combination just made me laugh 😀

What’s your SL nickname, or what do most people call you? (if applicable) Peepers, Peeps (which gets confusing for me, when peeps is used as slang for “people”) , Pantie (see below)

What’s your SL display name? Why do you choose to have one? (if applicable) Peep Darkward. Darkward is my family name. Love you, Ryker & Echo (Sparrowhawk) Darkward ♥

Do you like your SL name? Totally love it 🙂

If you could change your SL name, what would it be? Hmmm. Isn’t that why we have alts? 😉

What’s the craziest/funniest SL name you’ve ever seen? Pantiebutter. In fact, my sister and I now have nicknamed each other Pantie and Butter lol. Is it wrong that it bothers me Pantie is spelled that way instead of Panty, though?

What’s the coolest (your favorite) SL name you’ve ever seen? DingusDillywhopper 😀

It’s funny, but when I see a “normal” name in Second Life (like Joe or Susie), I just assume that is the person’s real life name. Peep is nothing close to my real name, and I doubt anyone thinks it is. But I’ve been asked if my name is Penelope, Patty or even Petula! My name is rather unusual, so it’s rare that I give it out, except to my closest, trusted friends. Maybe I’ll just become Petula from now on 😉

Easter Wishes

It’s been a busy weekend for me, and I’m sure everyone else. Happy Easter!

My sister, Maddie, wanted to do Easter photos. She’s as big a photo fan as I am! Friday night when I finished working I IM’d her to find her cleaning out her inventory. So what did we do to celebrate? We went shopping! 😀 We headed to Ho Wear to check out the Easter outfits, and grabbed matching plaid bunny costumes. We did a bit more shopping after that, just to replenish her wardrobe ;), but that’s not the point of this post. This is about our Easter photo shoot.

Of course, we had to have a photo with peeps!

Maddie had this cute Easter prop. The funny thing was there are poses for three avatars with this prop, but you can’t choose which one you want. They are assigned by the order in which you sit on it. We hated the first one, so I had to drag in my alt to sit on the first pose so Maddie and I could use the ones we wanted. Then we had to use her again to switch positions. Ah, the ingenuity! And the value of having an alt handy 😉

Mandy is another of my sisters of the heart. Because of our time zones, I don’t get to see her nearly as much as I’d like to. She rocks and she makes me laugh and smile. She’s tough as nails on the outside while soft and tender inside. She loves Queen, quirky humour and being in love.
